I've been working in Malawi with NGO Dignitas International over the past week. They provide healthcare services, counseling and support to communities in the southern regions, with their main office based in the town of Zomba.

It's my first time in Malawi - the people here must be some of the friendliest on the planet. It's no wonder they call it the warm heart of Africa. For years the country has been one of the worst hit by HIV-Aids but thanks to charities like Dignitas things are improving steadily, helped by a growing economy as well.
